How to use YUVEZZI video

You’ve taken the first step and talked to your eye doctor. Now it’s time to get ready for YUVEZZI eye drops for improved close-up vision.

YUVEZZI is an eye drop for adults with blurry close-up vision due to age, a condition known as presbyopia.

Presbyopia can happen as you age. Over time, the lens in your eye stiffens. This makes it harder to focus on close-up objects.

Simple things can be harder than before, such as… Reading. Texting. Checking a label.

Sound familiar? Then let’s get you ready for YUVEZZI.

YUVEZZI is the fuss-less eye drop for presbyopia you can use your way: on its own, instead of your readers—or with contacts or glasses you use to see far away.

Plus, using YUVEZZI is as easy as one and done!

Just one drop per eye, once a day—

And you can get up to 8 hours of sharp, close-up vision.

YUVEZZI combines two proven medicines that work together to improve close-up vision:

Carbachol, which helps your pupils get smaller, or constrict, so it’s easier to focus up close.

And Brimonidine, which helps keep your pupils from getting too large, or dilating.

Both active ingredients in YUVEZZI have been trusted to treat other common eye conditions for nearly 30 years.

Using YUVEZZI is simple. Twist off the top of the vial, tilt your head back, squeeze one drop in each eye, and you’re done.

Don’t let the tip of the vial touch your eye, eyelid, or any other surface.

Once you’re done, throw away the vial, even if it’s not empty.

Store unused vials in their original foil pouch to protect them from light. With YUVEZZI, no refrigeration is required.

Wear contacts? Just be sure to remove them before using YUVEZZI. Wait at least 10 minutes, and then you can put them back in your eyes.

If you use another eye drop in addition to YUVEZZI, allow at least 5 minutes between them.

Talk to your eye doctor about which drop you should use first.

YUVEZZI was studied in the world’s largest and longest presbyopia safety study.

The most common side effects of YUVEZZI were:

Headache, which was experienced by 16% of patients.

Eye irritation upon use—14% of patients.

Eye pain upon use—7% of patients.

And impaired vision—6% of patients.

Most side effects were generally mild, didn’t last long, and went away on their own.

People taking YUVEZZI had no treatment-related serious side effects in a 1-year safety study.

And nearly 9 out of 10 people were able to keep using YUVEZZI without stopping because of side effects for the full year of the study.

Now you’re ready to start using YUVEZZI.

Dr. Lighthizer, real YUVEZZI user and eye care professional

"The features of YUVEZZI that were attractive to me are that it’s preservative free and has a nice balance of effectiveness and tolerability. Meaning, YUVEZZI gives me a good duration of effect – up to 8 hours – without many side effects in my personal experience. My eyes have not been red, and I've had minimal-to-no burning or stinging after the first few doses. I'm using YUVEZZI 4-5 days a week, and it has helped me work in a more efficient manner as I go from different distances and different work environments that are part of my daily routine."
